A great little hideaway on a wonderful island. Ailouros guesthouse was super clean and tastefully decorated. A few steps from town and you can easily access all key beaches on foot. No more than a 30 minute walk.

Perfect location with magical sunset, top quality facilities, attention to detail, high aesthetics, very friendly owner.

Everything was perfect..more than expected

Perfect for 2-4 people, everything well settled, clean, spacious indoor and outdoor, great location, Manos is a great host, available to cover all your needs.

Amazing sunset view, beautiful terrace. 1’ from Chora

We have been to Schinoussa several times and this was one of the nicest places we have stayed. It has great views of the port and sunset. We liked the simple, rustic decor and enjoyed visits from a couple of friendly cats. The standard of housekeeping was excellent and the host, Manos, very helpful.

The house was great with two comfortable beds (one a bit more difficult to access, but we knew about it from the photos, so not a problem) and a very nice terrace with sunset view. It was incredibly quiet at night. The flat was cleaned every day and the host picked us up at the port and also drove us to our ferry after check-out. We really loved Schinoussa, especially the small bars and the man doing his groceries with the donkeys :-). There are really nice beaches (Ammoudi Beach was amazing) and we did everything on foot. We spent very relaxing days there :-).

Amazing place, amazing owner, amazing experience

The apartment is very well designed with all the commodities you may need. The terrance at the entrance has a nice sofa and offer a stunning view at the small Schinoussa harbour looking at the sunset. The location is perfectly embedded in the Schinoussa landscape with a position close the village and many facilities. We loved it! The owner was very nice and helped us in our staying in Schinoussa.

Nice location with sea view, and still in the outskirts of Chora with five minutes walk to the restaurants and shops. And 20 minutes walk to the best beaches.

Great location, lovely friendly host who picked us up and took us back to the port. All rooms have been newly decorated and are lovely and comfortable with everything you need.

Was picked up and returned to the port, which is always appreciated. The hotel is right on the edge of town so it is an easy walk to all the restaurants. The owners were very helpful with providing information. The rooms are well-styled and very clean. I loved the terrace for sitting and watching the sunset.

Very nice apartment with traditional design and very close to the Chora of the island!

The rooms were renovated this year and done very tastefully. They are big enough to feel comfortable and bright and charming. We had a small patio where we could sit and look out over the harbour and Iraklia so a nice view. The beds are very comfortable and wonderful of wonders there were even electrical outlets beside each side of the bed plus enough other ones to plug in stuff / so many places have only one outlet hidden behind somewhere difficult to use. There are beside wall lamps bright enough to read by. There are plates and cups and glasses for two. And water kettles and a french press with coffee and tea. In front of our room there were plants - even grape plants so also a bit greenery to cheer it all up. The location is a few minutes walk from the center so convenient but also quiet. Manos the owner is quite friendly and helpful and quick to respond to enquiries. All in all it’s a lovely place and we enjoyed our time there very much and can recommend it highly. Oh - and there is even a small bottle of raki included so something more to enjoy.

Comfortable well equipped room with very nice soft furnished balcony. Looks as if it's been recently had a makeover.

Perfect location 2 mins from the village center. Great sunset from the terrace. Very close to walk to the main beaches, which were empty (end of May).

Very good welcome. The owner picked me up at the port and brought me back on the day of departure. There is the necessary for breakfast. There are also books available. Recommended

We had a great stay at the Ailouros. Very convenient and close to the lovely Chora (a few minutes walk) and everything we needed was provided. We were picked up at the ferry and taken back there from departure which was great. For any day to day queries the housekeeping staff were brilliant and made up for the fact there was no reception or manager on site. I'd happily return to the Ailouros, hopefully next time for a longer stay.

Lovely room and view

Breakfast partnership with a local cafe, in a close distance, was very nice to have. Prices were quite low as part of the partnership and breakfast quality was very high. Even if the room was on the ground floor, the views were wonderfull.

Everything was great!

A lovely place to stay in, with fabulous views, just a couple of minutes walk from restaurants and bars. The room was great, with good sized balcony, ideal for sitting out and having breakfast. Beds are really comfortable. Great shower with good water pressure. Manon was really helpful and welcoming, picking us up and dropping us off at the port. He also arranged for us to leave our luggage at the hotel until we left. We'd recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

The guesthouse was beautifully decorated, well-maintained and super clean. I was even picked up from the port (free of charge) and there was a small carafe of Raki as a welcome greeting in the room. The room had a view towards the hills and the sea and was equipped with fridge, kettle, free coffee/tea, aircon, hairdryer, free water and very hot shower. I really enjoyed staying at this welcoming accomodation!
